Build work around your life.
Not your life around work.
Build work
around your life.
Not your life
around work.

Chapter One helps ambitious professionals discover the work that truly fits them, choose a direction worth building and turn it into reality over the next 90 days.

01   Do you recognize this?

Your job is fine.Doing it foreverdoesn't feel right.

Nothing is really wrong. You have a good job, a good salary and a life you worked hard to build. That is exactly what makes change so difficult. Why risk something good when you don't even know what you would build instead? But lately, another thought has become harder to ignore: what if you never try? The idea of doing this for the next twenty years is starting to feel like a risk of its own.

You notice yourself paying more attention to people who seem to have built work around their lives. Someone starts a business. Someone works remotely from another country. Someone creates something of their own. You don't necessarily want their exact life, but the freedom behind it gets your attention. And increasingly, you wonder what your version of that could look like.
You could probably find another role with a better title, a higher salary or a more interesting company. But deep down, you're starting to question whether that would actually solve anything. Because maybe the problem isn't your employer. Maybe you simply want more ownership over your time, your work and what you're building.
You have built a career, developed valuable skills and proven that you can perform. That's exactly why the feeling is difficult to ignore. You know you could create something bigger for yourself — you just don't know what that should be yet. A business? Freelancing? Something alongside your job? You have ambition, but no clear direction to put it into.
Walking away from a good career without knowing what comes next feels reckless. What if your idea doesn't work? What if you earn less? What if you discover that you were better off where you started? So you keep waiting until you feel certain. But the longer you wait, the more you realise that certainty probably isn't going to arrive before you start exploring.
You do not need to escape your work.
You need work you do not want to escape from.
02   What is Chapter One?

Stop looking for the right job.
Design your own.

Chapter One helps you discover what work could look like if you designed it around you — your strengths, experience, ambitions and the life you want to live. That could mean building a business, becoming independent or creating something alongside your career. You don’t need to know the answer yet. You just need to stop assuming it already exists on a job board.

You don't need to arrive with a business idea. We help you look at your strengths, experience, interests and ambitions differently — and uncover possibilities you may never have considered yourself.

Instead of choosing another job first and fitting your life around it, we reverse the question. How do you want to live? How much freedom do you want? Where do you want to work? What do you want ownership over? Then we explore work that can make that life possible.

You don't have to hand in your resignation and hope for the best. Your next chapter could start alongside your current job — giving you room to test ideas, build confidence and find out what actually works before making a bigger move.

The goal isn't another personality test, career report or idea that disappears into your Notes app. You leave Chapter One having started something real — with a direction you believe in and momentum to keep building.

03   How Chapter One works

Understand yourself. Choose your direction. Build it.

Chapter One moves from understanding to direction to action. Each step gives you something concrete to work with, so you are never left wondering what comes next.

We start by building a complete picture of you across five areas: your current life and work, your ideal life, your strengths, passions and experience, your constraints and non-negotiables, and the limiting beliefs that may be keeping you from making a move. The goal is to understand you well enough to design work around the life you actually want.

We analyse everything from your scan and bring it together in your personal Chapter One book. From that, we develop three realistic directions your next chapter could take. During your private strategy session, we explore those directions together and choose the strongest one to build and test over the next 90 days.

For the next 90 days, we help you turn that direction into something real. Each week, you can join two coaching sessions: one focused on mindset, fear and limiting beliefs, and one focused on building — turning your knowledge, strengths or passions into an opportunity, offer or business and helping you make the next concrete move.

You also get access to a community of ambitious people building their own next chapter. Everyone may be creating something different, but the goal is the same: more ownership over their work and life. It is a place to ask questions, share progress, find accountability and learn from people making the same kind of transition.

“The thing I kept trying to fix in my job eventually became my work.”

“Chapter One helped me see that the pattern had been there for years. I wasn't passionate about sales itself — I was always looking at the processes around it and thinking: surely, this can be done smarter.”

05   Why I built Chapter One

I always knew I wanted to build something of my own. I just never knew what.

I spent years searching for the right path — from law, to sales, to remote closing, to building my own coaching business. Along the way, I realised there is no single path to work you love. The right path starts with understanding who you are, what you already have inside you and what kind of life you actually want to build. That idea eventually became Chapter One.

I always knew I wanted to become an entrepreneur. I just never knew what I wanted to build.

Even as a kid, I never understood why someone would spend forty years doing work they didn't enjoy. A normal nine-to-five life was never the future I imagined for myself. I wanted freedom. I wanted to build something of my own. I wanted to decide where I worked, when I worked, and what my effort was worth. The only problem was that I had no idea what that “something” was.

So, like most people, I followed the path that was expected of me. At eighteen, I chose law. For six years I studied it, even though I already knew I'd probably never practice it. I assumed I'd figure out the business I wanted to build somewhere along the way. But graduation arrived before the answer did.

I eventually moved into sales, became an account manager and built a comfortable career. It was a great job — maybe too great. I earned well, had freedom and had very little to complain about. And yet I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more. I didn't dislike the work. I just knew I was still building someone else's dream.

That led me to remote sales. I started alongside my full-time job and planned to quit once I could replace my salary. But comfort is much harder to leave than dissatisfaction. Then the company I worked for went bankrupt. My first thought was: This is my chance.

I went all in. Within months, I was earning two to three times more than I had in my job and could work from anywhere. On paper, I'd created exactly the life I'd always wanted. But after about a year, sales started exciting me less and coaching other people started exciting me more.

I built a coaching business helping people become remote closers. Many successfully made the transition. But eventually I discovered something that changed everything: sales wasn't everyone's path to freedom.

One client told me she hated sales. Instead of convincing her to continue, I asked what she actually enjoyed. Through that conversation, we discovered that an incredibly difficult experience from her own life had given her knowledge that could genuinely help other women. She started creating content and eventually built a successful coaching business around something that had been part of her story all along.

That conversation changed everything for me. I realised my passion had never been teaching sales. It was helping people discover what was already inside them — their experiences, skills, interests and story — and turn that into work they genuinely wanted to wake up for.

That's why I created Chapter One. Not to teach everyone the same skill or tell everyone to become an entrepreneur, but to help people understand the story they've already written and discover what their next chapter could become.

Most people don't need to become someone else. They simply need to recognise who they've been becoming all this time.

Most people don't need to become someone else. They need to discover what has been inside them all along.
06   Questions

The questions that come before change.

No. Chapter One does not push everyone toward entrepreneurship. Your future may be a business, freelance work, a side venture, a redesigned role or an evolution of something you already have. The purpose is not to force one outcome. It is to discover which form of work gives you the freedom, ownership and meaning you are actually looking for.

You do not need to arrive with an idea. In fact, trying to invent the perfect answer too early is often what keeps people stuck. We begin with you your strengths, patterns, ambitions and desired life then allow fitting directions to emerge from that foundation.

Yes. Chapter One is built to run alongside your current work. You can complete the assessment, join the personal session and use the 90-day coaching to build or test your next direction without resigning before you are ready.

You leave with a direction that fits, a clear plan and 90 days of real progress behind you. Depending on your path, that may mean a validated offer, the foundations of a business, a growing side project, a move toward freelancing or a concrete career redesign already underway.

07   Your next chapter

You do not have to change everything tomorrow. You only need to begin.

The work you have built brought you here. The work you build next can bring you closer to freedom, ownership and a life that feels unmistakably yours. It starts with one honest conversation, without pressure or a reckless leap.
