“The work I kept doing on the side became the work I chose to build my life around.”

For years, I moved from job to job, trying to find something that fit. I worked at a bank, a marketing agency and in real estate. Every step made sense on paper, but none of them truly felt like me. Three times in a row, my contract wasn't renewed.

Throughout those years, there was one thing I kept coming back to: creating content. Whenever I picked up a camera, something clicked that never clicked behind a desk. But I continued treating it as something I did on the side. I worked on it in the evenings, kept one foot in the security of a job and never fully committed to it.

That half-commitment kept me stuck longer than any job ever did. It wasn't a lack of talent or ideas. It was a lack of a decision.

Chapter One helped me look at my journey differently. What I had seen as years of wrong turns was actually a pattern. I had always been creating, documenting and searching for the story behind a person or brand.

Dave helped me see that this wasn't something I needed to fix or eventually grow out of. It was the thing I should build my work around.

Once I understood that, I stopped asking which completely different career I should pursue next. Instead, I started asking how I could build a business around a skill I already had and genuinely enjoyed.

Today, that's exactly what I do. Through my own content, I motivate people to take the next step and become a better version of themselves. I also work with founders who are where I once was: people with genuine passion or expertise who struggle to express it, don't yet dare to show what they stand for or simply don't know how.

I help them turn their story into a personal brand they are proud of, one that attracts the right people and helps them grow their business.

What used to be the thing I did on the side has become the work I now get to build for myself.
