“Without Chapter One, my business would probably still be an idea in my head.”

When I started Chapter One, I had plenty of ideas but very little direction. I knew I wanted to build something of my own and help people, but I was still trying to understand exactly what that should look like, who I wanted to help and how I could turn it into a real business.

My motivation for becoming an entrepreneur was never simply to make as much money as possible. Whatever I build needs to mean something to me. I want to create something I genuinely believe in, something that comes from the heart and allows me to make a real difference in other people’s lives.

What I value most about Chapter One is that there is space for that. I am continually encouraged to return to the core questions: What do I stand for? Who do I genuinely want to help? And what do I want my business to represent?

Instead of creating something just because it might sell or appears commercially attractive, I am being helped to build something that feels true to me.

The direction is becoming clearer with every step. I have learned a great deal about entrepreneurship, positioning and becoming visible, but I have also been challenged to make decisions and take action. These are things I probably would have continued thinking about for a very long time on my own.

I also appreciate that there is room for doubt and for changing direction along the way. I am not being forced into a standard roadmap. I am being supported in building something that makes sense commercially, but more importantly, something that genuinely fits who I am.

I am still in the middle of the process, but when I compare where I started with where I am today, an incredible amount has changed in a short time.
